Philadelphia International Flower Show
Groundswell sought to recreate the formality of the Parisian garden for the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show. A salvaged wood bridge leads visitors between rows of pleached faux bois and steel trees that are encased in a canopy of living green walls. The trees’ branches drip with rain that is pulled through their trunks from the ponds below them. The exhibit won the People’s Choice Award.
