Empire Diner

Groundswell Design Group was given “carte blanche” to design the all-but-forgotten Chelsea, New York City landmark: Empire Diner, a project spearheaded by celebrity chef Amanda Freitag. From the Art Deco lighting, channel back booths and painstaking restoration of the existing honeycomb floor, the details aim to redefine the dining experience and at the same time reinforce the casual comfort and approachable cuisine that everyone expects from a diner.
