Spruce Street Harbor Park

The Spruce Street Harbor Park is a true celebration of the Delaware Riverfront, and Groundswell devoted itself to making this temporary summer park an experience the city won’t soon forget. The design called for river barges that extend the program out to the river and nets that will suspend visitors over the water. “Lily pad gardens” float in the harbor as visitors to the pop-up restaurant and bar nosh nearby. Amid the bustle of the park, an array of LED lights and hammocks hang from the existing trees–an opportunity to stop and take it all in.
